Mettiti in gioco! Non sono richieste particolari competenze, serve almeno un minimo di inglese e tanta voglia di imparare, confrontarsi e crescere in un ambiente multiculturale. 

“ECORURAL” è uno Youth Exchange del programma Erasmus+ organizzato da Be Equal Odv in collaborazione con la nostra associazione e cofinanziato dalla Commissione Europea. Il tema è quello dell’imprenditoria giovanile nelle aree rurali, affrontato dal punto di vista dei differenti Paesi partners.

4 Paesi: Italia, Malta, Romania e Lituania.

28 partecipanti in totale dai 18 ai 30 anni, 7 per ogni Paese.

8 giorni di attività, dal 13 al 20 Dicembre 2022.

DAM - Edificio Polifunzionale Unical.

Alla fine dello scambio i partecipanti riceveranno lo YouthPass, la certificazione europea che attesta le competenze acquisite.

Erasmus+ Trainsheep, Adina: "This experience has deeply changed me forever"

I am Adina Elena Matei, a second year student at Ovidius Constanza University, I decided to participate in an Erasmus program immediately after hearing about it. In my case the project is “Erasmus+ traineeship”, which financially supports students who decide to carry out an apprenticeship in one of the countries that participate to the Program, acquiring both communication and intercultural skills, both "transversal skills much appreciated by future employers" .

I choose Italy first of all because it is a country that I love, secondly because I wanted to see new places and I was curious about making a comparison between our social and political system and the Italian one. I came into contact with the Entropia Association through a Romanian girl who had studied at Unical and who spoke about my situation to her professor who knew the Association and, through Daniela Ielasi, president of Entropia, he made sure to bring me here.

My experience with Entropia started in a positive way, they supported me from the first moment, helping me to find an apartment and picking me up at the station. This is an association with an impressive past and an important future: it develops cultural programs for young people, which have an educational function. The president coordinates everything efficiently: she keeps the team united, creates a pleasant and serious environment at the same time. You learn by working and you don’t feel the passing of time. From her I learned how a dream can become reality: from an idea a project can be born, which becomes concrete thanks to the organization and coordination of a group of people who are completely dedicated to it.

The volunteers of the Universal Civil Service always made me feel included, they never treated me like a foreigner: working with them I learned the meaning of respect and self- appreciation. I was welcomed with open arms even though it was a busy period for them: they were working on the realization of the second edition of the festival “Calabria in Fiore”.

During this festival, first of all I gave my working contribution: I helped as much as I could in the organization of the festival, from the preparation of the exhibitions to the arrangement of the spaces; I observed and learned how a team works, where everyone has a task and knows exactly what to do. From a cultural point of view, the festival contributed to expanding my horizons: the debates and information that I have heard, and which I am still re-elaborating, will be the beginning of my  personal development, because they have led me to ask myself about problems that had not previously arisen.

During this period I also visited Italy. I found beautiful places: in San Marco Argentano I was very impressed by the very narrow streets, and also by the people who look out from the balconies and talk to each other from one side of the street to the other. Then I visited the Amalfi coast, where “it's all white and the mountain comes out of the sea” and between one stretch of sea and another there are pieces of land covered with flowers, lemons and cedars; people greet you even without knowing you and smile at you on the street.

I was shocked by the color of the sea, and the cleanliness of the beaches, which are also maintained thanks to the attention of those who frequent them: for example, I noticed that the pieces of plastic that fell to the ground were always collected.

Erasmus helped me to get to know myself better, to open up my horizons, not to judge others and to adapt myself. I learned to be more empathetic, kind, to help without expecting anything in return. This experience has deeply changed me forever: I bring home the awareness of how important it is to discuss and to dialogue, and the importance of small acts that can make a great difference.

Through the staff of the association and the volunteers, I had the privilege to learn more about Italian hospitality and traditions, culture, food, but above all to become more aware of what I would like in my future and in the future of my child.

ON AIR & C. is the latest Youth Exchange organized by Entropia about inclusion through digital radio

Radio as a tool for youth activism, inclusion, cultural and linguistic exchange, promotion of mobility and European values. On Air & C. is the latest Youth Exchange organized by the Cultural Association Entropia as part of the Erasmus+ program. After almost two years of forced pause due to the pandemic, the association has returned to one of the activities that have become an integral part of the mission of recent years. From the 1st until the 10th of September, 30 young people from different European countries were trained and confronted on the theme of communication, focusing on radio as a traditional tool of expression. Facilitated by the staff of the Association,the participants were engaged in activities within a training course, conducted by using non-formal methods that led to the creation of podcasts in different languages.

The project, of which Entropia was the leader, involved four other associations in Europe: Young Folks from Latvia, Master Peace from Romania, Youth Empowerment Group from Malta and Keliauk ir tobulek from Lithuania. Belonging to an international and diverse group allowed the more and the less experienced to work side by side, utilizing previous skills and acquiring new ones. A much-needed and long-awaited return to sociability, according to the participants, which made the project a very intense experience as reflected in some of the participants' statements (released anonymously when evaluating the activities). "I learned a lot from a professional and technical point of view, e.g. how to create a podcast, but also from a human point of view," wrote one of the participants. "After the lockdown and isolation these months," said another, "I was a bit scared by the confrontation with new people, especially in a different language, but now I'm really happy to have participated. I'm going away with a big bag of emotions that I missed." “I had never participated in an international exchange project before, I didn't really know what to expect and I was a bit lost at first. Now I don't want to leave and I think this has been the best experience of my life," was the comment of another.

The group produced several podcasts, some in English and some multilingual, to explain what a Youth Exchange project of the Erasmus+ program and specifically the On Air project is, to talk about youth activism and participation, but also about the main challenges that young people have to face nowadays. The European programs of mobility and non-formal learning are still not known enough among girls and boys in Calabria, but they are very useful to bring them and the whole region closer to the Europe of change, the Europe of youth and cooperation. Riparte la mobilità europea con Entropia, a settembre scambio su inclusione e attivismo giovanile attraverso la radio

In September it’s finally time for another Youth Exchange here at Entropia! The Youth Exchange will include 30 young people from 5 different countries and thereby bring people from various cultural backgrounds together.

On Air & C. aims to allow the participants to develop their creativity in everyday life and to have their opinion and their say not only on the matters of local and social interests and needs but also on major global issues. The focus behind this project is double: allow the development of the creativity of young people by giving them the opportunity to test ideas through radio programs in their topics of interest and to acquire professional skills and competences by working on their shows.

Reflex, concluso l'ultimo youth exchange dell'Associazione Culturale Entropia

REFLEX è l'ultimo scambio europeo realizzato nell’ambito dei progetti Erasmus+ youth exchange, dall’associazione culturale Entropia, grazie al quale 25 giovani provenienti da Italia, Spagna, Romania, Lituania e Grecia si sono incontrati per approfondire e discutere i problemi sociali d’Europa attraverso l’obiettivo di una macchina fotografica e con l’obiettivo di dimostrare che sbaglia chi pensa alla loro generazione come apatica e disinteressata.
Il progetto prende ispirazione dalla fotografia della fotoreporter Nilufer Demir, simbolo della crisi umanitaria legata all’immigrazione: sulla spiaggia di Bodrum, in Turchia, il corpo senza vita di Aylan, tre anni. Un’immagine che è rimbalzata sulle prime pagine di tante testate in Europa e nel mondo. La fotografia diventa un valido strumento per raccontare e per raccontarsi, per comunicare con le immagini anche quello che le immagini non raccontano, come i sentimenti, le emozioni, le storie che stanno dietro ai soggetti.

Erasmus+, settimo scambio giovanile dell'Associazione Culturale Entropia

Per un'Europa dell'inclusione. Scambio giovanile internazionale sul tema dei rifugiati

Si terrà dal 7 al 14 maggio presso il DAM (Dipartimento Autogestito Multimediale) dell'Università della Calabria il nuovo scambio giovanile internazionale organizzato dall'Associazione Culturale Entropia nell'ambito del programma Erasmus plus, sostenuto dall'Agenzia Nazionale per i Giovani. “Inclusion European Society” è il sesto progetto realizzato dall'Associazione, in collaborazione con diversi partner europei. Il tema questa volta è di forte attualità e riguarda l'integrazione dei rifugiati in Europa. Nel 2015, più di un milione di migranti sono giunti in Europa. Con l’aumento del flusso migratorio, la questione dell’integrazione è diventata una priorità dell'Unione europea. L'obiettivo principale dello scambio è quello di rendere i giovani consapevoli che i rifugiati (se integrati) offrono una vasta gamma di capacità, conoscenze e vissuti esperienziali di grande impatto. 

I Paesi coinvolti nel progetto sono Italia, Grecia, Germania e Turchia, terre di frontiera o di approdo finale, dove le politiche dell'accoglienza sono molto diverse, seppure in un quadro comune europeo. I 24 partecipanti (6 per ogni Paese), provenienti da territori in cui la presenza di rifugiati è crescente, metteranno in comune conoscenze, esperienze, pratiche, idee, progetti. Le singole fasi dell'attività richiedono una partecipazione attiva dei giovani, in un contesto collaborativo monitorato e teso all'abbattimento delle difficoltà relazionali tra individui di cultura diversa. I metodi si baseranno sull'apprendimento non formale, sulla partecipazione e saranno orientati alle necessità dei partecipanti. I facilitatori e trainers proporranno nello specifico: riflessioni individuali, esercizi di gruppo, workshops, presentazioni condotte dai partecipanti e sessioni di input, dibattiti esaustivi, esercizi di costruzione squadre oltre che simulazioni più complesse, giochi di ruolo. Lo scambio avrà un impatto positivo diretto sui giovani ma anche sulle comunità, i partecipanti avranno una nuova attitudine verso il flusso migratorio in Europa ed acquisiranno competenze utili a sviluppare iniziative finalizzate all’integrazione nelle proprie città. 

Il team italiano selezionato dall'Associazione Entropia è composto tutto da studenti e laureati dell'Unical, italiani e internazionali, studenti di Lingue ma anche di diversi corsi di laurea. Per la maggior parte di loro si tratta della prima esperienza di Erasmus plus, un'occasione unica per aprirsi al mondo confrontandosi con coetanei provenienti da altri Paesi ed altre culture, usando necessariamente l'inglese come lingua per comunicare e per provare ad immaginare insieme un'Europa dell'inclusione.

Alla fine del progetto verrà rilasciato lo Youth Pass, certificazione europea delle competenze acquisite.

"Rural UP!", scambio giovanile internazionale dal 23 al 30 ottobre

Tornano gli Erasmus al DAM dell'Unical. Anche quest'anno l'Associazione Culturale Entropia accoglierà dal 23 al 30 ottobre prossimi, 24 giovani (tutti fra i 18 ed i 25 anni) provenienti da quattro Paesi europei: Italia, Grecia, Slovacchia e Bulgaria. Il progetto si chiama “Rural Up” ed è organizzato in collaborazione con l'Agenzia Nazionale per i Giovani nell'ambito del programma Erasmus+ finanziato dalla Commissione Europea. Il format è lo stesso: una settimana di convivenza, conoscenza e scambio di esperienze - rigorosamente in lingua inglese – all'interno del Campus di Arcavacata, vitto e alloggio coperti senza oneri per i partecipanti. Per l'Associazione Culturale Entropia, che ha cominciato a lavorare in ambito europeo dal 2013, si tratta del quinto progetto approvato e finanziato.

Entropia presenta "Work for the Future", scambio giovanile Italia - Lituania

Aperte le iscrizioni al progetto europeo "Yaw - Youth at Work"

Sono aperte le candidature al progetto “Yaw - Youth at Work”, scambio giovanile internazionale Italia-Romania promosso dall’Associazione Culturale Entropia e sostenuto dall’Agenzia Nazionale per i Giovani nell’ambito del programma europeo Erasmus+. 

Il progetto si svolgerà dal 29 giugno al 6 luglio presso l’Università della Calabria, dove i partecipanti saranno alloggiati e dove svolgeranno – all’interno della sede dell’Associazione Entropia - le attività del progetto.

La call è rivolta a 8 giovani dai 18 ai 30 anni (4 ragazzi e 4 ragazze), senza particolari titoli o referenze, se non una buona motivazione, una predisposizione al lavoro di gruppo ed una conoscenza di base dell’inglese. 

Per una settimana il gruppo italiano selezionato si confronterà con un gruppo di otto giovani rumeni, selezionati dall’associazione partner in Romania, in un ambiente informale e libero, sul tema dell’occupazione giovanile: lavoreranno con metodi informali -  confronti, elaborazioni, bilanci del proprio e altrui vissuti, discussioni, game, role-playing, visite all’università e in città - e si confronteranno sulle proprie esperienze formative e lavorative, raccontando e raccontandosi, al fine di sviluppare una capacità critica e costruttiva rispetto alle tematiche affrontate (occupazione, orientamento al lavoro, imprenditorialità).

Il progetto si svolgerà in una dimensione europea, tenendo sempre presenti i valori dell’UE, promuovendo la cooperazione e sperimentando insieme percorsi di acquisizione, valorizzazione e riconoscimento delle competenze, affinché i giovani europei riescano a realizzarsi non solo nella società moderna e nell’odierno mercato del lavoro, ma anche a livello personale.

Per candidarsi gli interessati dovranno inviare una mail con i propri dati e una breve presentazione di sé a entropia@unical.it entro il 30 maggio 2015. I selezionati saranno contattati ed invitati in Associazione per un incontro preliminare di conoscenza.

Vitto e alloggio sono interamente coperti dalla comunità europea (per i tesserati dell’Associazione la partecipazione al progetto è gratuita, per i non tesserati l’unica spesa da sostenere sarà il costo della tessera di 5 euro). I partecipanti al progetto acquisiranno lo “Youth Pass”, ossia la certificazione europea delle competenze.

Youth at Work, nuovo scambio europeo promosso da Entropia

C’è anche il progetto dell’Associazione Culturale Entropia fra quelli selezionati dall’Agenzia Nazionale per i Giovani nell’ambito del programma Erasmus+. La graduatoria, pubblicata sul sito dell’agenzia il 12 gennaio scorso, ha reso noti i risultati: fra i cinque progetti premiati in Calabria, quello di Entropia è l’unico della provincia di Cosenza. L’azione è relativa alla mobilità dei giovani e il progetto, denominato Yaw - Youth at Work, riguarda uno scambio interculturale fra Italia e Romania sul tema dell’occupazione giovanile, che si svolgerà a Rende nel periodo di maggio-giugno 2015.
