All of them are young people under 30, including not only the students of University of Calabria, but also the young refugees and asylum seekers who are guests of the Cas (Centri d'Accoglienza Straordinaria) or included in the Sprar circuits of the area. During three weeks the volunteers have participated in art, theater, music and communication workshops, guided by professionists through informal and non-formal methods.
They have lived together going through the linguistic and cultural borders, sharing the same aim of the Festival: build a multicultural and inclusive society from below in which differences are valorated and not discriminated against.
The event opens with an international aperitif prepared by the volunteers, continues with two performances, one theatrical and the other musical, curated by Paolo Spinelli and Checco Pallone, and concludes with a concert by I Moti Rivoluzionari. The backdrop to the performance will be the artwork created under the supervision of Amaele Serino (Street Art School). The planned anti-covid measures will be respected.
Besides, this festival is part of a larger project carried out by Entropia for 15 months. It is supported by the EU under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programme. This is a complex project that has involved two volunteers, a German and a Spanish woman, for a year in the Association's team.
